Summary: This property, including its furnishings, is worn and has seen better days. Basic supplies such as garbage bags and paper towels, as well as soaps and shampoos, and towels and washcloths were either missing or in short supply. Among other disappointments were the heavily stained carpeting in the main rooms (well beyond what you would expect with a property that welcomes dogs) and the loose boards and popped nails on what is otherwise a very nice deck. The outdoor swing shown in the photos has been taken down and left by the side of the deck. The bar stools shown in the photos are too low for the breakfast counter, similarly the dining chairs are also the wrong height for the dining table. Also unexpected was the nearly 90 degree temperature inside the house when we checked in, which took many hours to cool down. I have stayed in several VRBOs this year and this property was very disappointing in comparison, especially for the price that was charged. Both the neighborhood and Perdido Bay were quiet, apart from the leaf blowers used each morning and evening by the neighbors, and the view was lovely.
